Staff Architect

LMN is currently seeking an outstanding Staff Architect to contribute to the design and development of architectural projects that thoughtfully respond to user needs, stakeholder interests, and community context. This role involves supporting the design process from concept through construction, with a strong emphasis on design sensibility and the ability to articulate ideas through detailed documentation. A passion for the potential of architecture to engage its environment and serve its users is central to this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare design and construction documents and generate detailed solutions to architectural problems.
  • Exhibit understanding of design philosophy of projects and produce design documentation to support that philosophy.
  • Coordinate documentation work with project teams.
  • Support team organization, including task management, scheduling, and meeting coordination.
  • Contribute to team effort through the spirit of collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a range of architectural skills preferred.
  • Experienced with building code analysis, the permitting process, and construction administration.
  • Experience presenting, leading group discussions, facilitating workshops, and engagement design.
  • Revit proficiency strongly preferred, familiarity with Rhino is a plus.
  • LEED certification is desirable as well as demonstration of a strong understanding of sustainable design.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a highly collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Office & Hybrid Hours
LMN employees collaborate in-office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Fridays are hybrid workdays that allow employees to work in the office, from home, or any location they choose. Core work hours are from 9:30 am - 4:00 pm, and provide flexibility for employees to structure their schedules around personal commitments and commuting.

Compensation
This is a salaried position with a pay range of $80,000 to $100,000. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
